Slang

Kids today have a whole new language. You can write a full sentence with like five letters.  Lmao. I saw someone spell close "kloz" the other day. So you dropped one letter. That made your life so much easier.  With all these new spellings and slang its a wonder how anyone is going to be able to understand anyone.

  1. "Slang" is my BIGGEST pet peeve, thankfully I only really have to deal with it on Facebook, but to me it's just really unintelligent! They think it is really cool to spell like that, and what is worse is those in their 20's and parents who type/spell like that. Oh, especially irritating when they are trying to prove a point or take a side on a discussion/debate. No one is going to take you serious if your sentences have no or over used punctuation, capital letters in the middle of words, numbers all over the place or you push so many words into an 8 letter long "abbreviation". Okay, I think I'm done ranting. ;)
