fears and joys about parenthood
The little girl is now up to 4 lbs 13oz. She is doing so well. The doctor said she might be able to come home in the next few weeks. Until then we will be making the hour and a half drive to go see her as much as we can. We can't believe how great she is doing. The picture is her playing with her daddy's finger.
She is doing really well. She is six days old and has moved from the nicu to the intermediate room. Its the growing room. One step closer to coming home. And today is the first day she gets to drink from a bottle. Thats a big deal. They will weigh her for the first time tomorrow since she will be a week old. She has progressed by leaps and bounds every day. In no time she will be home.
She came very early but she is here and beautiful. 4 lbs 9oz. She is a strong little girl. Welcome to the world Scarlett Abigail 02-15-2015.
We are less than two weeks away from welcoming Scarlett Abigail to the world. The doctors dont seem too worried about her coming early. They say she is strong and healthy. Keep her in your thoughts.
Time is ticking down. At most Scarlett will be in my belly for two more weeks to avoid compilations. That is a lot sooner then we anticipated. I've been stuck in the hospital for over a week now and was getting nervous about having a middle name ready. Finally leif found one he likes. So our little girls name is going to be Scarlett Abigail. I guess Leif just needed the pressure to help him fall in love with a name but im glad he picked. It sounds perfect for our little girl.
We are still doing well. Trying to stay calm and boring. The little girl is happy to stay in the belly for now. Lets hope she stays in there for three more weeks. The doctors say im good and she isn't in any distress so here is hoping we last all three weeks.
