safe holidays

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving and black Friday.  Its hard to stay safe on these holidays but I didn't here any bad stories this year. Last year there were people trampled and fights everywhere.  Maybe we are getting wiser as a whole. Or maybe people are realizing that most of the deals are crap on black Friday.  Either way im happy not to here any bad stories this year.

Happy early thanksgiving

We have to work all day on thanksgiving so we are celebrating today with leifs mom. The turkey is in the oven and the potatoes ( and leif) are getting peeled.  One injury already and three potatoes left. Lets hope he has all of his fingers when he finishes.

Shopping list

As thanksgiving comes around the corner I can't help but feel I will forget something for the meal. We already have the turkey and ham but its the important side i dont want to forget.  I thought my list was done and then I remembered rolls. How could I forget rolls. Then I was so happy I remembered rolls when leif said gravy.  My happy bubble popped. I know im going to forget something lets just hope its not super important.

Girls girls girls

A few days ago we announced that we are having a girl. We couldn't be happier. Then days later my sister made the announcement that she is having a girl as well. She is due three weeks after me. Its so exciting having someone so close to me going through this wonderful experience at the same time. She just started to feel the baby last week. Now that we know we are both having girls we get to prepare for barbies and bows together.

Its a girl. We couldn't be happier.  it is great to finally know what is growing inside of me. Now the question is what kind of shotgun is her daddy going to get to keep boys away

The little goldfish

Finally I feel the little booger move. It started last week. Its quite an amazing feeling. Something moving around inside of you. And the only thing that I can compare it to is a goldfish.  I feel like there is a goldfish in my stomach that swims around when it gets excited.  Unfortunately the goldfish like to get excited at work and on my bladder so I have to resist to pee on myself all day. Nevertheless I like the little goldfish and can't wait to find out if its a boy or girl. Im at 18 weeks and we are so close to finding out the sex. Its so exciting
